Charlie: Senior Pics

Charlie should be named Jack!! because he is a jack of all trades.. or should i say all sports. He loves b’ball the most but can play just about anything. I made him do all these cool tricks like spin the basketball on his finger, roll the ball down his arm and across his chest- he kept me entertained!! Here are the highlights of his shoot. Love this first pic.. such an all-american type kid.

What’s new…

I seem to have forsaken you little blog. But you are not forgotten. For the last week.. i have been moving in. Have you ever noticed that it is quicker to move out than to move in? I have moved into a house of girls!! 5 of us in one house.. hmmm.. yep! So, it is taking a little time to figure out where things go and how to make all the stuff from my 2 bedroom condo fit into my room ha. I will post pics soon of my room.. i am still working on making it cute, right now.

But whilst, i was gone and moving .. here are some highllights. My bestie had a bday.
First we had to decorate her so that everyone would know it was her birthday.

Then we had to have some yummy celebratory ice cream. But she wouldn’t share

And the next day.. i celebrated my brother’s bday. This is my brother, Joe with my stepdad.

We went to this middle of nowhere -redneck cafe. We told them it was Joe’s bday. We got the wink and the nod.. and they made sure we sat by the window. When it’s your bday.. they do this outside the window.

Yep – they set off some illegal fireworks!! haha. They also sell ‘em. If you mention -a guy’s name.. they will take you to the trailer for the good stuff.

Will: Senior Pics

i am just senior pic-in all over the place!! Once again another fun boy.. who climbs, jumps and runs… awesome. This shoot was incredible – because of all the great finds. I traveled out to shelbyville with only a few spots in mind – that i remembered from Amanda and Jamie’s wedding.. BUT – there were so many great finds. The railroad tracks, the train, an awesome barn and a blue wall.. does it get any better – yes, it does Check out the pics.



So .. will loves cars. His favorite is a red porsche.. But i think he would settle for this 1969 corvette any day. I showed my brother one of these pictures without any logo’s or emblems showing – and he said, “Yeah… a corvette!! ” ha.. how did he know? Must be a boy thing

So we found this field .. and the sky was amazing too!! But what makes it even better.. was this old barn we found. SCORE!!! i love old barns!!

Mags: Senior Pics

Mags is my youngest cousin -out of 16. We have quite a large family and we are very close. So- i got to spend the day with someone i just love and laugh a lot with. We spent almost all morning /afternoon together. I made her get up way early.. to get the amazing light – which is quite a feat to get any teenager up early The very first part of the shoot was spent in this field .. i found on the side of the road the day before. My cousin is an amazing artist so i had her bring all of her favorite pieces with us.

There are just so many awesome pictures.. i can’t stop!! When we were done with the field, she got dressed up and then we were off to find some cool spots. I know, i know.. when you think of cool.. you think gas station don’t you haha – i did. And this old guy let us cute girls pose with his rusty ole truck – awesome. he told us we could get in.. but we refrained from sitting on the trash.. i mean she was in a dress. Maybe next time.




Then.. Mags said.. look at those cars over there. And after seeing the look in my eye.. said, “we’re going there aren’t we?” haha – yep.




we went to a random diner and i embarrassed her by having her pose in there.. ha. Then we went to a firehouse and tire store… pics on the railroad tracks, etc… here are just a few more.. i promise.

and then we jumped in the lake!!

My Inner Redneck

I look forward to this moment every year.. a chance to go to the Oldham County Fair and get in touch with my inner redneck. i put on my cut-off jeans, a wife beater and a hat – to go watch the most watched event at the OC fair – the DEMOLITION DERBY. Yeeehawwww. love it!! But before that could begin.. i had to walk around, check out the sights and get me some fair food

I actually ate bbq pork – i have only eaten one hot dog my entire life.. and that was a desperate situation at that. But i did eat this…..
