I look forward to this moment every year.. a chance to go to the Oldham County Fair and get in touch with my inner redneck. i put on my cut-off jeans, a wife beater and a hat – to go watch the most watched event at the OC fair – the DEMOLITION DERBY. Yeeehawwww. love it!! But before that could begin.. i had to walk around, check out the sights and get me some fair food

I actually ate bbq pork – i have only eaten one hot dog my entire life.. and that was a desperate situation at that. But i did eat this…..

YUM!!

Things don’t move to fast here at the OC fair.. so, we had lots of down time in between races.
so, we walked around to check out the sights this goat tried to eat my camera.

Then came my favorite – Car Demoltion



They were flinging so much mud.. that it actually hit a few of us.. and left a big stain on my white tank top – er, i mean wife beater Here are some more of my favorite shots:

There were also lots of rebel flags in the form of blankets, jackets, hats and of course – tube tops and shorts I think my inner red-neck just did a back flip!! gotta love the fair — See you next year OC
